A beautiful “Butterfly” lounge chair manufactured by De Beijenkorf in the Netherlands around 1950.
This eye-catching chair is designed in the style of the iconic Hardoy “Butterfly” chair. It stands on a tubular black lacquered metal base, nicely folded into shape and holding a black canvas seat that hangs into the frame. This provides a unique style and seating comfort! A highly recognizable and inviting piece that will be a wonderful addition to any decor.
It remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
