Paolo Buffa (Milan, 1903-1970)
Furniture architect and designer Paolo Buffa was born in Milan in 1903 and died in that same city in 1970. He carried out his studies at the Polytechnic University of his hometown, years of learning after which he worked with the designer and architect Gio Ponti and in the workshop of the architect Antonio Cassi Ramelli. He began his solo career in the 30s, lasting his creative period until 60 and developing his own style that would guarantee great success in the design panorama. After World War II, his designs began to occur in series, reaching even further and gaining popularity. Paolo Buffa became one of the most recognized Italian furniture designers, being his pieces still very sought after among design lovers.
