Vintage Design
An elegantly shaped Art Deco, Walnut and Glass Display Cabinet on cabriole legs. The door frames and front central panel feature the original tortoise shell, decorative paint effect and sunburst style glass support beading rods, lending some additional Deco glamour to the irregular hexagonal form. Inside are two, height adjustable glass shelves; the bronze and black textured silk covered back is in good condition and unites the interior and exterior of the cabinet.
The overall design is particularly aesthetically pleasing with plenty of Art Deco glamour combined with a lightness and elegance of form. This is a piece that would look fabulous in a wide range of interior styles.
The condition is very good, some minor scratches/flaws should be expected as this is a pre-loved piece with history. There are a small number of inactive woodworm holes on the legs and only one key for the two doors. I am not sure if there were ever two keys as the one key is interchangeable between each door.
